In addition to being a Director of Euro Petro Product Limited Mr Fahim Ahmed Faruk Chowdhury is presently the Vice Chairman of Pubali Bank Limited, the largest private-sector commercial bank of the Country. He is also the Managing Director of Ranks FC Properties Limited which is a joint venture real-estate company of RANCON Enterprises. RANCON is one of the leading business conglomerates of the Country with interests in diverse fields, such as, real-estate, automotive, home electronics, telecom, motorbikes, lubricants, seafood etc.. Mr Chowdhury also leads CEM Group which has interests in ready mix concrete cement and UPVC doors and windows. Mr Chowdhury is also the Managing Director of FC Holdings Limited which is involved in construction and project management consultancy etc.

He is also a Director of Globex Pharmaceuticals Limited and Delta Hospital Limited, a leading cancer-specialised medical services provider of the Country. Mr Chowdhury was also a former Director of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Mr Chowdhury is the son of Late Faruk Ahmed Chowdhury who was a leading business personality of his time. Late Faruk Ahmed Chowdhury headed Chittagong Electric Manufacturing Company Limited and F.A.C Eastern Enterprises Limited which was a supplier and indentor to Bangladesh Railway and represented world-famous companies, such as, ABB Scandia, Stone U.K. and Krupp Germany. Late Faruk Ahmed Chowdhury was also a Sponsor Director of Pubali Bank Limited, Green Delta Insurance Company Limited and Delta Life Insurance Company Limited.

Mr Chowdhury obtained his Masters in Business Economics from the University of Buckingham, United Kingdom.
